The Story Behind the Design
The phrase “Create your own reality” is inspired by a Viking symbol—two upward-pointing arrows—also one of my very first tattoos. It serves as a powerful reminder that our thoughts shape our world. Life throws challenges at all of us, and it can sometimes feel overwhelming. But choosing to lead with gratitude can shift everything, opening the door to abundance and growth.
The skull and crossbones—represented here with crossed hammers—symbolize transformation. Sometimes, we have to let go of what no longer serves us in order to make space for something new. It's a nod to the beauty of release and the courage it takes to evolve.
Above the skull, the star represents hope, inspiration, and renewal. I want this design to spark something lasting in the people who wear it—a reminder of resilience, creativity, and forward movement. At Third Raven, we create fearlessly—always experimenting, problem-solving, and refining to craft designs that mean something and stand the test of time.
The Design: Conceptualized through initial sketches, digitally refined, and meticulously hand-printed using traditional silkscreen techniques with water-based inks.
The Tee: Comfort Colors 6.1 oz., 100% ring-spun cotton. Unisex. Preshrunk, soft-washed, garment-dyed fabric. 1" ribbed collar with double-needle topstitched neckline. Double-needle collar. Twill-taped neck and shoulders. Double-needle sleeve and bottom hems. Wash in cold water with like-colored garments, as some of the pigment dyes may stain light or white colored garments. The shirt has been altered to give it a destroyed look. A cut bottom with the addition of some thoughtfully placed holes.
